LENICOM - Bike excursions - ROVINJ

Our guides will help you in discovering natural and cultural beauties of Rovinj, its surroundings and Istria in general, by riding kilometres in the nice company and without pressure. Among many tracks and routes we've chosen some of them, which we are going to describe briefly:

             1.      Guided cycling through the Old Town of Rovinj. A short coffee and cake break in a café with view of the Rovinj's pitoresque harbour. After the break, cycling along the coast through the forest park "Zlatni rt - Punta Corrente" to the roman finds in Moncodogno. After the short guided historical trip return to Rovinj across the hills, with beautiful sights of Rovinj riviera (MTB or city-bike recommended)...

             2.      Cycling in groups from Rovinj to Pula. A sightseeing tour of roman amphitheatre (Arena) and other roman monuments with a guide. The trip follows in the central part of Istria, lunch in a rural farm (Istrian specialities - agro-tourism). Visit to the medieval castles on the way back and after reaching Rovinj a deserved rest (road bike or city bike with thinner tires recommended)...

             3.      Boat excursion from Rovinj to Vrsar. Short guided sightseeing tour of the town with the bikes. After the sightseeing tour short coffee and cake break. Return to Rovinj along the Lim fjord (road or mountain bike track). Visit of the Lim fjord and, on demand, lunch in the restaurant "Viking" (great fish menu). After lunch cycling through villages near Rovinj and return to Rovinj (road bike, city-bike or MTB  recommended - it depends of chosen track)...

 4. Van (mini bus) ride to different places in Istria (Poreč, Novigrad, Buje, Umag, Pazin, Grožnjan, Labin, Pula,...) and bike ride discovering a natural and cultural monuments along the track, lunch on demand...
